Poor village girl with broken thigh bone

9 year old Jyoti Khadka fell down a hill in remote Sindhuli District while tending to her family goats. She broke her left thigh bone.

Dr. Roshan Lal Shrestha of Kathmandu Model Hospital tended to her for 8 weeks. She underwent physiotherapy after the plaster was removed. She is now back in her home in her remote Sindhuli home. All the expenses for her treatment was borne by the clinic. Because we do not have our own surgery facilities at present, the above treatment have been carried out elsewhere but sponsored by us. These are some of the reasons why we need to have our own operation theatres.
