7 year old Lakpa Sherpa is suffering from a rare disease called congenital anamoly of ears and nose. His nose and ears closed on its own when he was 3.

He had to breathe from his mouth. Surgery has been performed on his nose and ear. He is doing well. Son of a poor labour hand from Tatopani (Nepal-China border) village, he may need further surgery.
