279 persons undergo Free Cataract Operation

Professor Dieter Dausch and his medical team consisting of Dr. Axel Fehn, Barbara Birner, Reinhold Birner (both from Sulzbach Rosenberg) and Christine Gradle ,Dr. Stefan Boehm, Dr. Lee as well as Nurse Anni Weigl together performed cataract operations on 279 poor patients from all over Nepal. Free camps were held in April 2000, 2001 and 2004 at the clinic. More camps are planned. The Professor heads the charitable organisation Africa Luz, Amberg, Germany.
