Nepal's first ultra modern dental lab was established on 1, January, 2000 with the help of GMZ, Associatio for Medical Technical Co-operation and Gehse Dental Technik,GmbH. These German organizations helped in the setting up of the laboratory. The German Embassy in Kathmandu helped with the construction. Dentaurum provided part of its annual requirement of raw materials. Anjali Mali and Sapana Shrestha received their two year training in Germany at Gehse Denatl Technik and Dentaurum.The lab now has seven personnel.
